More information

A moderately vigorous, spreading shrub up to 70 cm tall. Blooms are golden-orange with a lemon-yellow petal base, bowl-shaped, double, medium-sized (6 cm in diameter), with a light fragrance, borne singly on strong pedicels 15–25 cm long. In cut form, keeps for 5 days. Buds open quickly. Flowering is abundant and prolonged, from the second decade of June to late autumn. Resistant to powdery mildew; on the southern coast of Crimea it overwinters without cover, while in regions with harsher climates it requires the standard protection used for hybrid tea roses. Used for cut flower production and ornamental design. Recommended for the south of the USSR. Flowers of our homeland / Ivanov P.N., Golubkova A.D., Zaitseva E.N., E.A. Evtyukhova; artist I.Ya.
