More information
This groundcover variety is not to be confused with the floribunda rose of the same name by Le Gris (1968). White Spray by Louis Lens is the white counterpart of the pink rose Pink Spray by the same breeder. The narrow, light green foliage remains on the plant into late autumn and may overwinter in mild climates. The flowers are simple and white. The main bloom occurs in early summer. With deadheading of spent inflorescences, flowering is continuous; otherwise it proceeds in waves. From the framework branches, lateral shoots can reach up to 1.5 m in length. In solitary planting these shoots lodge, forming a dense bush about 0.5 m high with ground-covering qualities. On a support, the shoots grow longer.
