A variety with repeat flowering and vigorous growth. Large, rich pink flowers of old-fashioned form with a fruity fragrance. Tall shrubs can be trained on a support. Flowering occurs in flushes throughout the season. Named in honour of Werner von Simson, professor of public law at the University of Freiburg and a friend of John Scarman’s father.
