This variety is frequently encountered in the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg, in yards, cemeteries, and similar locations. It does not freeze and persists without regular care. It is present in the Botanical Garden of the Botanical Institute of V. L. Komarov, RAS.
Once-blooming, with large (up to 10 cm) fragrant lilac flowers; a Rugosa rose hybrid. The first wave of flowering is long and abundant; later, only single flowers appear. The cultivar is resistant to diseases and grows on various soils. Branches are prickly. Planting density: 1 plant per square metre. Hardy, suitable for creating a hedge.
