More information

A rose cultivar whose name translates as “Time of Waltz.” Blooms abundantly and for an extended period with large flowers. The climbing form, “Climbing Waltz Time,” arose as a bud mutation and bears large trusses of 3–5 silver‑lilac‑pink flowers; the usual bush tea‑hybrid form is “Waltz Time.” Flowers are densely petaled (45–50), about 10 cm in diameter, with a faint rose‑type fragrance. Compared with its parent variety, “Climbing Waltz Time” shows strong growth to 3–4 m in height and about 1 m in width. Flowering occurs from mid‑summer to late autumn. Suitable for training on chain‑link fencing, fence posts, or a pergola.
