Vaguelette is a recent introduction from Japanese breeding. Rose buds open into large, wavy-petaled flowers that, when open, display purple-violet tones. The rose forms cyst-shaped inflorescences (3 to 5) and keeps shoots upright. It has a sweet citrus fragrance. The rose shows resistance to frost and has withstood seasons of prolonged rains.
