More information

The rose was bred at the GBS in 1952, and interest in it continues. “Morning of Moscow” shows stability in this climate. This variety currently interests English rose growers.

Bush height 60–80 cm, spreading, with thin shoots, weakly spiny. Leaves medium, leathery. Flowering is nearly continuous. Flowers are silvery‑pink with a reddish blush at the edges; in cool weather the color is more saturated and the blush is brighter. Flowers 10–12 cm in diameter, 30–40 petals, with a fragrance, appear in inflorescences of 3–7. At full bloom the flowers appear shaggy. Winter‑hardy and disease‑resistant.

Flowers coral‑pink, non‑fading, up to 10 cm in diameter, very double (47 petals), with a weak fragrance, 3–5 per inflorescence. Flowering is abundant, from July. The bush is spreading, semi‑branched, up to 60 cm high. Leaves leathery, large. Not affected by fungal diseases. Cold‑resistant. Used for bush culture and for cuttings.
