More information
The cultivar was named to commemorate Typhoon Rose in 1972, one of the most intense typhoons to strike Hong Kong. Typhoon tolerates precipitation and partial shade. Its blooms show mixed coloration; on a single bush, yellow, pink, and orange flowers appear simultaneously. The foliage is semi-glossy, silvery green. The flowers are small, with watercolor-like transitions and splashes of color. The fragrance ranges from moderate to strong. The cultivar is resistant to diseases. It holds well as a cut flower.
