More information
This rose was bred in 1974 and remains popular, particularly in its native Germany. It is a salmon-pink floribunda with fragrance. The flowers are large and fairly double for a floribunda, produced in quantity in clusters of 3–8; they are suitable for cutting and also for garden use. The blooms are rain-resistant and tolerate heat well. The bush is branched, erect, with strong dark foliage, and is usually resistant to disease. Reblooms quickly.
The color is pure coral orange, and the flowers open from tight, goblet-shaped buds into rounded, cup-shaped blooms with neatly twisted centers. The petals drop cleanly. Flowers appear sometimes singly, sometimes in clusters; they are fragrant and withstand rain well. The bush is strong, well branched, and blooms abundantly. The foliage is dense, dark green. Named after a piano work by Schumann.
