This new variety shows excellent resistance to all rose diseases. It is also resistant to Rose Rosette virus, as demonstrated by trials conducted under difficult conditions. Across several years of testing throughout the eastern United States, Top Gun remained clean, showing no symptoms of this virus, while most other varieties exhibited signs of infection. The variety is characterized by very abundant flowering.
The plant forms a rounded, bushy shrub and produces powerful stems that terminate in clusters of dark red flowers with a long bloom period.
