More information
Tom Tom is a semi-maroon pink floribunda with a white center and dark yellow stamens. A long-established variety that remains in cultivation, it is easy to grow and flowers freely. Buds and blooms are larger than those of most floribundas and are borne in unusually large clusters, usually 8–20 per cluster. Autumn flowering is very abundant, and the pink color becomes darker in cold weather. The bush is rigid, upright, relatively low, winter-hardy, and healthy. The foliage is dark and glossy.
This variety produces red-pink flowers with about 24 petals. The blooms are large relative to the size of the bush, initially resembling small hybrid tea roses before opening flat. Flowering is particularly abundant in early summer and autumn. The bush is compact, suitable for beds where a low-growing variety is required or for the edge of a border. The bush is branched, upright, and densely foliated. The foliage is matte, dark green.
