More information
The Lady has an elegant shape and delicate colours. The flowers open pale peach, with a delicate yellow reverse and a pink edge. Later they fade to creamy white, while the centre remains pale yellow, contrasted by red stamens. Blooms appear singly on long shoots, suitable for cutting. Withstands rain well. Foliage shows disease resistance; young growth is bronze. The bush is strong, branched, and erect; the shoots carry large thorns. Easy to grow and free-flowering.
After crossing two floribundas, the breeder obtained among the seedlings this hybrid tea rose. The flowers are honey-yellow with salmon tints on the petals, appearing singly or in clusters on long shoots, suitable for cutting. The fragrance is light; blooms are produced consistently throughout the season, and the large flowers stand up well to rain and wind. In the garden it suits use in a bordure. The bush is somewhat irregular, so it is not recommended for beds.
