The Churchill Rose (registered as HORoften) is a shrub rose with apricot to light orange blooms. Flowers are double with approximately 17 to 25 petals and have a cupped form. The fragrance is mild. The plant blooms in flushes throughout the growing season. Foliage is glossy, medium green. The rose was bred by Colin P. Horner in the United Kingdom before 2005 and introduced in the United Kingdom by Peter Beales Roses in 2011 under the name 'The Churchill Rose'. It was introduced to mark the 50th anniversary of Churchill College, Cambridge.
