More information
There are two roses named Texas. One is a greenhouse cut rose bred by Cordes, with yellow flowers edged in pink. The other is a miniature rose bred by Poulsen, with cup-shaped, semi-marginal yellow flowers that shift from bright yellow at the center to pale lemon at the edges. The stamens are exposed and turn brown quickly. Flowers appear in clusters of 3–10 on a compact bush with fine dark green foliage.
The bright yellow flowers of this rose do not burn out even in strong sun. They are terry, glass-shaped, with a light fragrance. The foliage is fine, matt, and the bush is very tall and erect. It is a brightly coloured miniature rose, disease resistant and winter hardy. Flowers appear one at a time on long, strong shoots.
