A yellow rose; the blooms are cup-shaped. The central petals form a bowl of deep, rich yellow, while the outer petals curve outward and fade to a very pale yellow, producing a two-tone effect. Medium-strength tea-rose scent. The bush is vigorous with an arching habit.
The colours of this English Rose show creamy white at the edges and golden yellow at the centre, with tones of honey, cream, and lemon. The blooms are densely petalled, cup-shaped, flattened, sometimes bending under their own weight. Usually appear singly, but sometimes in small sprays. The shrub is spreading, requiring pruning to maintain shape. Used on obelisks in hot climates; height to 2 metres. Foliage is glossy, with few thorns. Fragrance is very strong, sweet, fruity.
The flowers are a delicate yellow that does not burn out. They form slightly cup-shaped rosettes. The foliage is pale green. Tea-rose fragrance; winner of a fragrance prize in 2000 and many other awards.
