More information

In recent years, Maison Meillan has labeled some of its new varieties as Farniente roses. This designation identifies them as easy-care roses—very hardy, very resistant to disease, and requiring no pruning. Tchaikovski is an example of this type. It has buds like tea-hybrid roses that open into old-fashioned-shaped blooms, and the plant does not require spraying, removal of blooms, or pruning. The flowers are cream in color with a pale creamy petal reverse and an apricot or pale yellow center. These combine with the dark foliage and a dense bush. In hot climates, the variety reaches up to 1.5 metres.

A floribunda rose in yellow tones, reminiscent of old roses in the complexity of the flower and dense terry (100 lp.).
