Rose of Japanese breeding, bred by Seizo Suzuki. Flowers are creamy white at the center, with scarlet and carmine-pink sweeps along the petal edges that expand as the bloom matures, altering the tone; densely double (about 40 petals), large, fully open diameter about 13 cm. Blooms appear singly on strong, upright shoots. Suitable for cutting, with slow opening. Tan Cho flowers very profusely and almost continuously through the season. Shows resistance to diseases and frost. Fragrance is mild. The bush is vigorous and compact, 90 to 150 cm tall. Foliage is shiny, leathery, dark green. Aroma is mild. Displays resistance to diseases and frost.
