More information

This new winter-hardy yellow rose bears large blooms in dense trusses that shift in colour from pale to medium yellow. Spent flowers do not require removal, as the petals drop cleanly. The foliage is glossy, dark green, and disease resistant. The bush is vigorous and fountain-shaped, with arched, drooping shoots. It overwinters under snow and is hardy to zone 4. In warm climates it can be grown as a pleached rose. Blooms throughout summer.

Winter-hardy yellow shrub roses are included in this category, and this cultivar is one of them. Tahitian Moon is a tall shrub, or a pleached rose in warm climates. Flowers are large, heavily ruffled, delicate yellow, opening into flat rosettes, then shattering cleanly. Trusses of buds and blooms are set against dark green, glossy foliage. As with all Easy Elegance roses, the foliage is very disease resistant.
