The English market name for Sylvia is Congratulations. Common in Europe and Australia, but not sold in the US. The flowers are large, silvery pink, opening from classic goblet-shaped buds. At full bloom, the petals reflex neatly, and a creamy yellow center is sometimes visible. Flowers usually appear singly, sometimes 2–3 together, on long shoots. They are long-lasting both on the bush and as cut flowers. The bush is strong and upright, generally disease-resistant with some susceptibility to powdery mildew, and bears large, bright green foliage.
