More information

New for 2016.

This cultivar, introduced at Chelsea 2016, commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Barnado Family Benefit Foundation, specifically Syrie Barnado, the wife of Thomas Barnado, who helped establish the foundation and continued his work after his death. The Sweet Syrie rose has a sweet, strong fragrance. Large flowers (on opening up to 12cm) are borne in inflorescences of 3-5. The blooms display a complex blend of pink and apricot-peach shades. With vigorous growth and healthy foliage, this climber is suitable for walls, fences, trellises, and supports.
