More information
Lemon-yellow to yellow blooms with about 30 petals, approximately 9-10 cm across; the lighter outer petals curl outward as the flower opens, usually borne singly on the shoots, lightly aniseed-scented, and able to withstand rain. As the bloom develops, the color fades to pale yellow and nearly white, the form loosens, and the midrib becomes visible. The shrub is tall, with dark, dense, glossy foliage and slender shoots that may droop after rain or under the weight of the bloom. Flowering is abundant. Disease resistance is reported as good.
