More information
The author described this variety at the time of copyrighting as a hybrid tea rose of orange-red coloring, noting that the bloom does not lose its coloring under any weather conditions. He also stated that he positioned it as a variety suitable for both open and closed ground. The buds are conical with a high center; over time the bloom becomes flatter, while the petals remain neatly arranged and slightly wavy along the edges. The flowers open slowly and are most often seen on the bush in a half-open state. The fragrance is slight and fruity, and may sometimes be absent. The flowers are long-lasting both on the plant and after cutting. Dimensions: plant height 80–100 cm; flower diameter about 10 cm; petal count in normal conditions 35–43. The foliage is medium-sized, with leaves composed of 3, 5, or 7 leaflets. Leaf shape is oval and pointed (acuminate). Texture is leathery; the upper surface is semi-glossy, the lower surface matte. Young foliage differs in color: the upper surface ranges from purple to reddish-green, the lower surface from reddish-green to green. The variety has many prickles.
This variety was registered in 1993 and was bred earlier (1990) by Paul Pekmez by pollinating Pekom Ecli seed with Korpek pollen.
