St. Nicholas is a deep pink Damask and Hybrid Gallica rose. It was bred by Robert James in the United Kingdom in 1950 and introduced there by T. Hilling & Co. as 'St. Nicholas'. The blooms are deep pink with a mild fragrance and have a single to semi-double form. Flowering includes an occasional repeat later in the season. The shrub grows to about 90–185 cm in height and up to 90 cm in width. It is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 4b through 9b. The flowers have pronounced golden stamens when fully open and the plant sets hips.
