More information

Sombreuil is a winter-hardy Tea-Noisette rose. Buds open to flat rosettes composed of many wavy petals with a green button at the center. The blooms are creamy white with a pale pink tint toward the center, borne in small clusters (usually 3) and sometimes singly, and they remain upright without drooping. Flowering is profuse and nearly continuous, and spent blooms drop cleanly. Petals are delicate, so the cultivar performs better in hot, dry conditions. Suitable for cutting. Foliage is dark with sharply pointed tips. Growth can reach up to 10m.

A Tea-Noisette rose with relative winter hardiness. Flowers are medium to large (9–10 cm), flat rosettes with numerous wavy petals and a green button at the center. The color is creamy white with a light pink cast in the center, appearing in small clusters or singly. Petals are soft, so the plant performs better in dry, hot climates.
