Golden-yellow bloom with a darker, slightly “twisted” center; as it opens, pink-red hues appear, and the flower’s appearance varies across stages of flowering. At full open, the center is visible. Spice-scented fragrance. Flowers mostly solitary. There are reports of successful cultivation in zone 3 winter hardiness.
Bud long, pointed, yellow. Flowers orange-yellow, with golden and reddish strokes, very large, double, fragrant. Bushes vigorous. Leaves intensely green.
This is the first variety with yellow flowers.
