Blossoms are wide-open, single (simple), with yellow stamens, borne in clusters of 3–7, blending pink, golden-yellow, peach, and apricot tones. After the petals drop, the stamens remain, creating a silvery, downy center reminiscent of clematis. Foliage is dark green and leathery. Visited by bees. Recommended for use as a flowering hedge.
