More information
Although Silver Jubilee remained for many years the most popular hybrid tea rose in Britain (its blooms show high rain resistance), it saw limited uptake among rose growers in other countries. The flowers display an apricot-pink tone. The outer petals are soft pink, the inner petals are dark pink, and the intermediate petals are apricot. The underside of the petals is darker, producing shadow contrast between the petals. The flowers open slowly. They appear singly or in clusters of up to five and are used for cutting. The bush is compact and spiny, with fine, dense, bronze-coloured foliage that is disease resistant.
