More information
Winter-hardy, low-maintenance cultivar. Flowers are saturated pink; depending on weather conditions a warm blush may appear; size up to 6 cm; terry; borne in abundant inflorescences of 10 or more. The flower shape is unusual due to strongly wavy and sometimes fringed petal edges, and the blooms bow their heads. Fresh fragrance. Flowering is extended and recurrent. Does not set fruit. Bushes are tall, vase-shaped, very prickly; branches can arch under the weight of the inflorescences. Foliage is large, shiny, wrinkled, and practically not damaged by diseases and pests. In decorative qualities, the variety resembles the more popular Ritausma, except for the more contrasting flower color. Suitable for creating impenetrable flowering hedges in sunny locations.
