More information

This cultivar is intended for beginner rose growers. The Northern Accents series (4 cultivars—Lena, Sven, Sigrid, Ole) is intended for border plantings or as a bright accent in mixborders. It is characterized by abundant and continuous flowering, ease of care, and a well-structured bush habit.

Polyanthus rose; breeding of the cultivar was originally focused on winter hardiness, endurance, and low-maintenance cultivation. It is grown only on its own roots, as the primary winter-hardiness feature of the entire Northern Accents series is the ability to overwinter under snow cover even in 40-degree frosts and then produce in spring new vigorous shoots from below ground.
