More information
This hybrid Rugosa rose, Schneekoppe, bears semi-marginal flowers with long petals that have a tissue paper-like texture. The coloration is white, with pink or lilac tinges, and is followed by large scarlet fruits. The variety flowers up to the first frosts, so the last blossoms open against the background of the first fruits. Flowers appear in small brushes, set against wrinkled light green foliage. The bush has a spreading habit, increasing more in width than in height. Its hardiness and ability to grow in poor soils make Schneekoppe suitable for landscape plantings, hedges, and for planting on slopes.
