More information
The German breeder Noack markets his groundcover roses outside Germany as the Flower Carpet series. Schneeflocke is commonly known as White Flower Carpet. The flowers are semi-double, large, pure white, with prominent golden stamens and slightly wavy outer petals. They are produced in clusters of 3–15; the bush can be entirely covered in bloom. Individual blooms are not long-lasting. After flowering, small rounded orange hips appear. The shrub is broad, compact, and well-branched, with glossy dark green foliage and high disease resistance. This rose can be used as a groundcover, in mixed borders, in landscapes, and in containers. In Germany, it flowers continuously throughout the season until the first frost.
