More information
Compared with large-flowered roses, this variety presents a "modest" look, with blooms that are not large, slightly tousled, semi-double, and borne in clusters. The petals curve inward to form a spherical bud that later opens to a cup-shaped flower with golden stamens at the centre. Flowering is very abundant and prolonged from early summer to late autumn, and it is suitable for the front edge of a border; the "apple colour" is noted. The bush is low, broad, well-branched, very dense, and rounded. The foliage is rather small, reminiscent of the leaves of old Alba roses. The fragrance is fresh, green, with musky tones.
