The rose was bred by Peter Beales in the United Kingdom before 2013 and introduced as 'Sandringham' by Peter Beales Roses in 2014. This shrub rose has deep pink blooms with a strong fragrance. It produces medium-sized, double flowers (17-25 petals) in small clusters and blooms in flushes throughout the season.

The plant can reach a height of up to 5 feet (150 cm) and a width of up to 4 feet (120 cm). The patent status is unknown. One known parent of this rose is 'Mme Isaac Pereire'.
