Blooms are dark red with a black-velvety tinge, medium-sized, very double (about 60 petals), and fragrant. Bushes are vigorous, with dark green foliage. Flowering is abundant.

‘Saljut Pobedy’ is a dark red Hybrid Tea rose with darker shading. Flowers have up to about 60 petals and are very full. Fragrance is moderate. It blooms repeatedly in flushes throughout the season. The foliage is dark green. The rose was bred in the former USSR by Vera Nikolaevna Klimenko in 1962. The name translates as “Victory Salute.”
