Georges Delbard introduced a rose under this name in 1961. Thirty years later it disappeared from catalogues. Delbard now offers a new variety carrying the same name. A dense, well-formed bud opens into a full, bright pink flower with a simple rose fragrance, and the cultivar is cut for bouquets and arrangements.
From dense, pointed buds develop blooms with a complex, layered arrangement of petals. The rich pink colour, close to crimson, is noted by many amateurs, and in plantings the intense colour is visually prominent; for a clear display of the actively coloured flowers, a good background of foliage is required. The bushes are dense, with abundant foliage and well-formed flowers, giving a uniform habit. The fragrance is described as pure, without additives, pink.
