More information

Ruby Anniversary is chiefly popular in the UK, where its name marks a 40th wedding anniversary. The blooms are small and closer to crimson red than ruby, with a slightly lighter reverse. Flowers are nearly scentless, produced in relatively large sprays (5–12 per spray), and used both in beds and as cut flowers. Foliage is fine-textured, dark, and glossy; the shrub is low and compact. It reblooms quickly and is used in containers and at the front of mixed plantings.
