Royal Edward is a low-growing miniature rose, noted as the only miniature capable of growing in cold climates. Unopened blooms are pink, fading to pale pink, with creamy yellow stamens. Flowers appear singly or in clusters of up to 7. The foliage is dark and glossy, showing disease resistance in cold climates but susceptibility to black spot in warmer regions. Blooms until frost.
The foliage is small, dark green, and very glossy. From early summer to late autumn, the bush bears neat semi-double flowers of pure pink color. Very easy to root. Almost completely resistant to disease.
