A budding mutation of the shrub rose Bonica. Royal Bonica has larger, double blooms with longer-lasting coloration than Bonica. Fragrance is faint; the flowers withstand rain and bloom through summer and autumn. The bush is fast-growing and upright, with matte, clean-green foliage. Suitable for landscape gardens and hedges.
