Large, semi-branched, deep red flowers, resistant to fading, are borne in clusters. The bush is upright with an open habit; foliage is dense and resistant to diseases. The official naming of the new variety took place in the summer of 2012 in the Upper Palatinate, from whose coat of arms it takes its name.
