More information
Rosy Future shows traits associated with different rose classes. The blooms are much larger than the leaves, which are sized more like those of a miniature rose. Although bred as a patio rose, or dwarf floribunda, it can quickly reach 2.5 m in hot climates. Flowers are loose, semi-double, pale crimson to dark pink, with a white spot at the center and white streaks on the petals; the center exposes a cluster of golden stamens. Blooms appear in clusters of up to 10. Foliage is neat, glossy, and small; there are few thorns; the bush is compact and upright. In hot climates it remains compact, though the shoots arch downward. The first flowering is abundant; Rosy Future reblooms well, and between waves there are always a couple of flowers on the plant.
