More information
Rosy Cushion is among the earliest modern groundcover roses. The flowers are single: pink with a white center and a cluster of golden stamens. The inner surface is soft pink, darker on the underside; the petals are slightly larger than those of an unbranched rose. They appear in clusters of 5–25, in large numbers over the entire surface of the bush. The foliage is dark and very disease-resistant. The bush is densely set with small thorns, broad and dense, suitable for mixborders, where it serves to fill voids. It blooms almost continuously until late autumn.
