More information
Maline-purple blooms with 26–40 petals form a flat rosette and have a strong clove aroma; on the shoots, blooms may appear singly or in small inflorescences. As the bloom opens, the color shifts to “pink.” The shrub is spreading, with thick, leathery foliage. The variety is named after a rose garden in France.
Flowers show a purple-wine color and clove scent; clusters contain up to 5–7 blooms, and at full opening the center is visible. The bush is broad, with bright green, leathery leaves. Over time, the variety can repeat bloom and may flower throughout summer with sufficient light. Very resistant to disease.
