Rose bearing simple flowers in clusters of 2-3, produced abundantly. Blooms are flat. Diameter: 7-8 cm. Color is velvety garnet, with white and pink dashes and golden stamens. Sweet Gallic rose fragrance. Foliage with the typical red petiole of the Gallic rose. This hybrid is unrelated to Rosa gallica officinalis and to Rosa officinalis versicolor. Roseraie de Commer is not a sport. Bred on 1 June 2001. Vigorous bush. Bush size: 150 x 120 cm. Spines are sparse and stiff. Flowering is single.
