More information
This rose is grown worldwide, yet in no single country does it appear on the lists of all major nurseries. It has a strong fragrance and forms a compact, dense bush. The colour palette includes salmon, orange, peach, pink, and yellow blending together; as the bloom opens, the tones fade until the petals are almost transparent. Although classified as a floribunda, each bloom initially resembles a hybrid tea rose; later the petals become wavy and the flower opens fully. The variety is suitable for beds and for cut flowers. It blooms early, though repeat flowering may be delayed. The foliage is dark and glossy.
Flowers are orange-yellow with salmon tones, fading with age. They are sweet-scented; the rose has won several awards for fragrance. It reaches 75 cm in height; the bush is spreading, with dark green, shiny foliage. The blooms withstand rain well. Requires a sunny location and good soil. Winter hardy.
