This variety is characterized by the persistence of its rich crimson colour over time, numerous large flowers of defined form, a fan-shaped arrangement of shoots, and also shiny foliage. In full bloom, it produces a continuous mass of colour and is suited to locations where a permanent bright spot of colour is required in the garden.
