More information
Musky hybrid. A fountain-shaped shrub with large trusses of pale yellow buds that open into creamy flowers with a characteristic musky fragrance. Foliage is large, rounded, brown-green, with bronze young growth. Suitable for solitary planting, mass plantings, and mixborders.
For a musk rose hybrid, Rosalita bears relatively large flowers—over 5 cm in diameter. Buds are light yellow; this coloration remains in the centers of the open flowers. Petals age to pure white; yellow stamens and pollen provide contrast. The flowers have a faint musk scent. The leaves consist of large brownish-green leaflets. The shrub is initially upright, later spreading. Reaches 120–150 cm in height.
