Single flowering in spring or summer. Thick, upright bush, branching on its own roots. Frosted foliage. 5–7 leaflets. Height 100–200 cm. USDA zone 4b and warmer. Overwinters without shelter. Double flowers are uncommon among species roses. Strongly spreads in width. Almost odourless. Openworked foliage with a bluish tinge, including in autumn.
