More information
The Roadrunner series (2007) is noted for disease tolerance and good winter hardiness. Dark green foliage carries clusters of fragrant double flowers. These roses can be conditionally classified as groundcover roses. They are also used for borders, group, and solitaire plantings. They tolerate urban conditions well.
Flowers of this hybrid Rugosa rose are deep pink, with 17–25 petals, a strong fragrance, and a diameter of 5–6 cm, borne in large, shield-shaped inflorescences. Foliage and shrub, superficially similar to common rosehip, differ by a more compact size and greater bush density. The shrub is pillow-shaped, with width slightly exceeding height. Blooming is abundant and prolonged.
