A climbing rose that blooms in waves throughout the season. Flowers in red–cinnabar–carmine tones, large (10–12 cm), very double (more than 40 petals). Strawberry odour of medium intensity. High disease resistance. Can be trained as a column.
Resembling camellias in summer, these are roses; they re-bloom and carry a strong red-berry fragrance. The green foliage is highly disease resistant. Height: 2,50 m.
Rita da Cascia (Rita of Cascia), born Margherita Lotti (1381, Roccaporena, Perugia – 22 May 1457, Cascia, Perugia), was a medieval Christian saint and an Augustinian nun. She is venerated in the Roman Catholic Church and regarded as an intercessor in hopeless situations. In the hagiography of St Rita of Cascia, patroness of the parish of the Three Lucs in Marseilles, the rose holds a prominent place.
