More information
This hybrid tea rose displays blossoms with multiple tonal variations. The palette is highly variable across blooms. Bright yellow buds marked by scarlet streaks open to double, goblet-shaped flowers 8–10 cm in diameter. Yellow petals carry a margin with shifting tones of orange, red, and purple, so no two flowers are identical. In cool conditions the coloration intensifies. In hot weather the flowers may be entirely yellow or quickly fade to pale yellow or cream with a pink edge. Fragrance is light. Flowers appear singly or in small clusters at the ends of long shoots. Shoots are moderately spiny, and the foliage is matte, dark green. The shrub is upright and rounded, usually large, 120–200 cm tall and about the same in width. Disease resistance is rated good.
